The tour will go ahead as planned even if the weather is poor on the day. Dress appropriately and we recommend that you bring an umbrella. See the FAQ page for the conditions that warrant a cancellation.
We will taste a variety of street food snacks to satisfy your hunger for cultural discovery. A sprinkle of India, a slice of Africa, a pinch of China and a spoonful of France makes up our Mauritian melting pot. See. Hear. Smell. Touch. Taste!
Our guide will not only lead you to the best food spots in town, but also share the history and culture to uncover Port Louis.
From the hustle and bustle of the central market, to the tranquillity of the company gardens, we will be sure not to miss what makes this city so unique.
A small water bottle will be distributed to each person on the tour.
Breakfast – Have a light breakfast in the morning. Keep your appetite for the food tour.
Walking Shoes – Wear a comfortable pair of walking shoes to make your way around town.
Sun Protection – Be sure to bring sunscreen and/or a hat to protect you from the strong tropical sun.
Extra Cash – Some extra cash might be useful if you spot a little treat you want to bring back to snack on after the tour.
